Kaiti Christine Voice and Piano

Kaiti is excited to make her return to Portland after living in New Orleans for the last three years.  There, she earned her MM in Vocal Performance from Loyola University under the instruction of Dr. Tyler Smith.  She also worked regularly in the opera and musical theatre scene, performing in Candide, The Magic Flute, Shrek the Musical, The Money Box, Rusalka, New Orleans Opera Association promotional concerts, and music directing Guys and Dolls, Sweeney Todd, Pirates of Penzance, The Wizard of Oz, and Peter Pan.  She also taught private voice and piano lessons with Thibodeaux School of Music.  

Born and raised in Portland, Kaiti earned her BM in Vocal Performance from Portland State University under the instruction of Professor Ruth Dobson, and also performed regularly.  Favorite roles include Philia in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and Peep-Bo in The Mikado.  She began teaching piano in high school, directly upon completing the OMTA Syllabus program with honors, and has maintained a full studio ever since.

In her spare time, Kaiti enjoys spending time with her husband Jim and her black lab Bacchus, yoga, cooking, wine tasting, and hanging out at the coast!
